Tears on the Sound: In Memoriam sailboats Canvas Edition - Unstretched -SOLD Oil on canvas 4,300 24 x 18 In February of this year the Down East community lost 9 members to a tragic airplane crash on Core Sound, Atlantic NC. During this time I have watched a community hurt and grieve and even through the pain embrace those that were hurting the most; gathering together to heal and create a legacy. As I reflected on those friends and family lost, I looked out over the sound and it seemed that even the sky was crying.
