The dial is inspired by a painting by Dante Gabriel Rossetti, titled "Beata Beatrix" and originally made in 1864 1870. I didn't know that the model of this woman, Elizabeth Siddal, the wife of Rosetti who passed away in 1862 prior to this painting, was also the model for Ophelia!
