This oil pan has more or less a welded in plate for the oil drain screw rather than a welded nut found on the newer pans

This would be an item I would recommend to just try and install it first try and properly adjust the settings

Basically they made 2 types of these, one was long and the other is this type that is short that is generally found on MerCruiser 120hp & 160hp models up until 1982 before they switched the manifold style.
