The aromas are initially of juicy red cherries, gaining touches of tomato leaf with white pepper notes following. The palate is juicy with nice balancing acidity. The fruit shows a spectrum from rhubarb red cherry to raspberry red plum followed by white pepper spice. Plentiful soft, smooth tannins. Warming alcohol rounds out the finish. The simple, pure, concentrated fruit lasts well.
