Located on the western edge of Denver

With a quick shutter I capture many images of the skyline including this one as lightning lit the Denver skyline through the pavilion at Cheesman Park

A clean road and tall banks of snow

Lining up the colors so they would fill the frame in a compelling way sometimes means having your tripod in a tight space but fortunately on this image it wasn't too much of an issue

the leaves have almost all fallen in the Denver area and there is not that much snowfall in the city at that time

As with many waterfalls in Iceland you can get quite close to the falls either by walking along the river or taking the steps to the top.
