A small piece of  wedged shaped Pine comes with the JNUC to seal the entrance and also servers as an entrance reducer

Our commercial Jnuc box is made  of white Pine  with some knots and minor defects and the top is made of 2/3" MDO plywood

Pine Painted J-NUC Top A small piece of wedgedThe Pine J Nuc Box is designed for long life and durability. The box is made of Northern White Pine and the top is made of 3 4" MDO sign plywood and has a dado cut in the bottom so it can't move from side to side. the depth of the frame ledge has been increased to compensate for the inset. The bottom has a screen for full ventilation and blocks are attached to the bottom to allow for ventilation and stacking. All the joints are glued and stapled. A
