Community Collection of PET/HDPE in Krabi and Trang, Thailand (PWRS) turtles and birdsThis project partner is a social enterprise that collects ocean plastic from remote coastal and island communities across Thailand, and collaborates with companies to create circular supply chains. Prices for recycled materials are too low to cover the cost of collection and transport from remote coastal areas and islands in Thailand. As a result, most plastic found in these areas is burned, dumped in illegal landfills, or left on the shore, where it
