Julia's Door, rue de l'Université art first sunny afternoon in aLast fall, I noticed a familiar door about a block or so away from my hotel the entrance to Julia Child's apartment on the rue de l'Universit. I had stumbled upon it a few years before when we stayed at apartment nearby and painted it then. It seemed like fate had brought me back. So I decided to revisit it, painting away in my room at the JK Place. This watercolor is particularly special as it's the only painting in this collection completed in situ
