The palate is fruity, like a warm fruit loaf with warm sweet butter. The finish is soft but lingers with creamy notes that give way to a little spice and final dry ending. This Raicilla is produced by Maestro Tabernero Don Ruben Pea in the mountains in the village of Mascota, Jalisco. At 1,500 metres above sea level, Don Ruben cultivates Agave Maximiliana from seeds. The
