Francois Chidaine Touraine Sauvignon 2020 brand_Fries Family Wines and a touch of smokinessThe nose is delicate mix of white grapefruit, sage, and fresh white flowers, and the palate is fresh and rounded, only faintly herbal rather than overtly vegetal as some Sauvignon Blanc can be. The wine was aged and fermented in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts, and spent several months on the lees before bottling. Well balanced and a great pairing for sauted fish or vegetables and certainly with goat cheese.
