The bottom is screened for full ventilation and pine blocks are attached to the bottom for stacking and to still allow for air circulation

You can give a puff or two at the entrance and the same in the top

except this one comes with  (3/4" Pine solid bottom with a 4" wide by 1/2" high opening in the front

A small piece of pine comes with the J J Nuc to seal the entrance and also serves as an entrance reducer
