There is a rough edge on one side of the tree. Tree base is twisty copper wire salvaged from the beach, Lake Erie. Extra cool because it throws shadows. Back is wired for hanging on a wall. Also works leaning on shelf or in picture hanger; this ones probably to heavy to sit on a shelf mantle without support.
