Flavors of blackberry, raspberry, roasted fennel bulb and lavender mingle on the palate with rich, chewy tannins that linger through a finish marked by a splash of cranberry. This wine is fermented in clay amphorae, which gives it an expected gritty texture that may not appeal to all palates.
