Boats & Coast antique painting now revealing the presence of20th century French school oil on hard carton attributed to Charles Berges (1851 1941). The work has little texture to the touch. A wonderfully distressed port scene with a bright sky, shadowed working boats, and turquoise waters. The painting has a lot of imperfections in the form of marks, and surface stains from time, but it seems to add to the antique charm of the piece.
