Antique Map of Germany c.1747 politicans Mrs AsquithAn original antique copper plate engraved map of Germany by the renowned cartographer Emanuel Bowen. It was published in London in 'A Complete System of Geography ' in 1747. The title of the map reads: "A new and accurate map of Germany, divided into its circles. Drawn from the most approv'd Maps &c and regulated by Astronom. Observations. By Eman Bowen." The printed area measures approximately 222mm x 315mm with margins beyond, blank verso.
