WhistlePig 18 Year Old Double Malt Rye Whiskey 70cl Scilly Spirit Distillery The distillery grows its ownThis 18 year old double malt rye has been made with; rye which adds bold peppery spice. Malted rye which adds soft, floral and an earthy character. Malted barley this adds rich, sweet and toasted notes. On the nose this is sweet and aromatic, with toasted oak, berries and nutmeg. The palate is elegant and spicy, mildly fruity and pleasantly floral. Vanilla and oak notes appear with time. The finish is wonderfully long, clean and spicy at the very end.
