This dawdler takes its sweet time. Although it flowers already in mid March, it needs the whole summer and well into autumn to become the flat peach with pink marbled flesh that we transform into our liqueur. Sensory qualities: Characteristically sweet, luscious peach flavour, full bodied on the palate.
