J W BENSON LONDON SMITHS MADE IN ENGLAND ROMAN NUMERAL DIAL DENNISON AQUATITE CASE C 1953 5 hacking Case has the later SCWJW Benson tropical wristwatch by Smiths in a Dennison Aquatite case of approx 33. 3mm in diameter with a chromed case top and steel screw in back. The thickness is 11mm. Will be fully overhauled. This example has a 16 jewel movement with the cruciform cut out dust cap and the higher quality balance assembly not normally found in the smiths version. Case numbered 87389 . These c series JW Benson watches were made both before and possibly after 1953. A
