on the Traversagna road that leads to Boca • Altitude of 400m above sea level • Volcanic porphyry soils that originated from the explosion of a supervolcano 280 million years ago • The Erbaluce is hand harvested in two separate passes in September • Cold maceration takes place for 48 hours followed by static decantation  • Controlled temperature fermentation for about 20 days • Aging on the lees until March in inert containers followed by bottling in the Spring • Approximately 100 cs produced for the first vintage
