when the lovely October colours were surrounding me

The title comes from the Dave Pike song South Seas from his 1964 album Manhattan Latin. This little maquette was created on a cardboard base, with an acid free white background and raised paper elements (cut paint chips), all measuring 6. 5 x 6. This will be mounted on an acid free illustration board measuring 9x9, with the artists signature just below the
