The hummingbirds certainly seem to swarm around the tall saguaro in our back yard when it is in bloom

It’s a wonderful place to spend the day walking through the narrow streets and alleyways

They almost look like butterflies from certain angles and their delicacy is really beautiful

We have taken to feeding them in our backyard and as a result I have plenty of opportunities to observe them in a natural habitat

You can almost feel the warmth of summer just by gazing at the view
