Pencil Cut Paper 'Bookham Common' evokes where IThis 3D collage's starting point is an 1855 Japanese fan woodblock print by Sadatori. Picking up the colours of this print, I've used pieces from my paint palettes, paint chips and a weathered page from an old book. The title of the work comes from the yellow paint chip at the top right, named 'Pencil'.
