Certan De May 2003 Malbec a dry white made withTasted at the chateau. This has a very fine nose for a 2003, very lithe and well defined, good purity, not showing so much heat. There are scents of blueberry, black plum and a little tobacco. The palate is medium bodied with respectable, fine tannins, still masculine but undeniably well balanced and understated on the finish with hints of tobacco and thyme.
