Desert Bells Coasters and a small fishing villageWatercolor on cradled board 60 x 24 These beautiful creamy blooms are from the yucca plant. The bell shaped blossoms are clustered off a stalk that can be as much as 6 feet tall. The spiky leaves of the rosette look incapable of creating such soft beauty, but healthy plants bloom every year in the spring summer of our desert.
