Jizaikagi are used to hang the pot, or chagama, on the irori fireplace. This piece doesn't host the iconic fish shaped decoration; instead, it has a natural piece of a tree branch that is attached to the main pole by a chain. The hook is made from metal and part of a longer pole that fits inside the bamboo. It can be extended up to 35cm,
