The authors found that there were some DRGs where the average MA price was much higher than FFS and there were some DRGs where the average MA price was a bit lower than FFS. For example, for the time period in question, on average, MA plans paid 129 percent more than FFS for rehabilitation stays (DRG 945), 33 percent more for depressive neuroses (DRG 881), and 27 percent more for stays related to psychoses (DRG 885)
