The aroma projects red currant and cassis layered with cedar. Firm and medium weight on the mid palate with flavors of black cherry, mocha, and granite. With a smattering of Petit Verdot, this hearty, full bodied red is robust in oak. Tobacco, leather, clove and char highlight a concentrated dark berry frame, with a lingering mocha tone on the finish.
