This is a highly unusual Matchstriker with a smooth glass body & 2 ‘V’ shaped strike areas

the original mirror with appropriate aged foxing and with the stem supported by a beautiful gadrooned base

some staining on the back (shown in the photos)

It's a rare survivor and rather special with wonderful hallmarks on the base

Pair of Victorian Gilt Bronze Mirrors c.1880 V38 tableware This is a highly unusualFabulous Pair of Victorian Gilt Bronze Mirrors c. 1880. Super heavy and with very old mirror plates, possibly the originals. There is some foxing to the plates so they clearly have age the backs have been replaced (shown in the photos). This is a really fabulous pair of beautiful, highly decorative mirrors. I need to stress they are HEAVY! They do have very strong fixings on the back so as long as they hang on a strong wall then all will be well.
