This morning while along the lake there was already a steady number of runners and walkers out for their morning exercise

This image was an afternoon at Lake McDonald looking towards Stanton Mountain on some fresh snow which wasn't hard to find at all

In 2012 we had a lack of snow but more cold during the month of December

The ski resort is not yet open

From a distance I spotted a tree which looked interesting in its location and when I got there found the fresh snow surrounding the area which I photographed and created this image

Alaska Governors Mansion at Christmas Size:11"x14" This morning while along theJust after Thanksgiving a good amount of snow fell in Juneau, and last night some more started to fall. With camera in hand I headed over to the Governors Mansion to photograph the holiday lights with some fresh snow falling. The mansion itself is in a residential area not too far from the capitol building.
