Using this as a foreground I framed the city of Denver behind and naturally the mountains as well for this image

However about 15 minutes later I saw them heading back towards the downtown area of San Diego and found a location to capture them in the morning light with the skyline in the background as well

As I got closer to the rocks the detail which could be found on each one was quite interesting and also caught my attention to photograph for a little while

As I walked towards Freedom Tower in a light rain from Battery Park

On this day it was a little less crowded which allowed me to get closer and spend more time at the sculpture

Sunrise from Mt. Evans Size:24"x36" Using this as a foregroundThis past weekend I headed up Mt. Evans for some photography in the morning. With sunrise occurring around 5: 30am in the middle of summer along the front range of Colorado it was an early departure from Denver to get there in time. It was at this moment where you can say having an alarm go off at 3: 00am was worth it as I was provided with a colorful start to the weekend.
