Morning at Sloans Lake in Denver Size:24"x36" With some mild temperatures early

With some mild temperatures early this week as well as a full moon I have been out working on expanding this group of work as well this week

Working with a longer shutter exposure to soften the water motion I focused on the island while protecting the lens from some of the rain which was falling

I saw the first signs of light starting to shine on the sign at the train station capturing this scene under blue skies on a chilly morning

I headed out to the plains for some images just after sunset near the airport

One evening I headed towards the area to photograph with another photographer and even though it was a moon lit evening noticed the contrast between the mast and cables with the dark evening sky

Morning at Sloans Lake in Denver Size:24"x36" With some mild temperatures earlyIn March of 2013 after a Saturday snowstorm I headed to Sloans Lake in Denver to photograph at sunrise. When I got to the lake in below freezing temperatures the steam was rising from the lake. Positioning myself for sunrise I wait to the morning light to pick up more of this steam with the City of Denver in the background from just west of downtown.
