Davita Building in the Snow Size:24"x36" Exploring some of the roads

Exploring some of the roads I came across this tree early one morning and thought the barbed wire and the look of the tree were complimentary in meaning

but will do so in a few weeks for the season bringing more traffic to the road then what I saw on this day

This afternoon I decided to walk around this area to capture some images of the trees near the Colorado Convention Center

A few weeks earlier I captured the fall colors around the Governor's Mansion and thought it would be a good comparison to photograph around there during this late snowfall once again working the lines into the image

I grabbed some images of the lines and patterns of the shadows knowing that upon my return the sun would be behind the nearby ridge

Davita Building in the Snow Size:24"x36" Exploring some of the roadsAs construction has continued around the Union Station area there is this view of the Davita Building which still remains, for now. I have been drawn to this perspective as it allows for a simple look at the lines of the building and the perspective of Millennium Bridge in Denver. On this day a couple of weeks ago there was a light snowfall in the city which allows the blueish hue of the building to standout on the overcast day in the city.
