The work has the atelier stamp on the back of the painting. This life scene features a church, and what appear to be a few abstract figures in the foreground. We have a poplar tree and the crosses that mark a cemetery. The painting was painted with quick brushstrokes, and has a dreamy impressionist quality as such.
