The tree next to the water with the snow still falling is what grabbed my attention

For two year prior to this the Colorado Rockies played at Mile High Stadium which is now the location of the parking lot next to Sports Authority Field

The late afternoon light was lighting up the remaining fall colors on a nice November day

A new year has begun and I took the opportunity to photograph the first sunrise of 2013 in Denver

the first snow was not until mid-November which is quite late

Winter at Sloans Lake Size:20"x30" The tree next to theTaking advantage of a large snowfall in Denver, I headed to Sloans Lake which is along the western border of Denver. Walking around the lake I noticed this flowing tree and started to photograph it with the lake in the background. I sort of laughed to myself as it does have a little similarity to the image Winter in Washington Park which I have photographed a few times before as well.
