As I parked my car at Sloans Lake

There are actually two domes within the building itself

The architecture of the canopy over the tracks is quite interesting and on a sunny day I headed down to this area

Climbing the 268 steps to get to the statue as it looks out above you is an amazing experience

I found a spot which would give me the repeating rows as well as a view of the sky in this image which I am sure won't be one of the last I take from this area

Rocky Mountain Lake Park Size:20"x30" As I parked my carWith the final preparations for the First Friday Art Walk at the gallery nrc I was able to sneak out for just a little while when dropping off some packages at FedEx. On the way back I stopped by Rocky Mountain Lake Park and walked near the lake. With some nice afternoon sunlight and the change of seasons on a nice fall day in Denver, I photographed near the lake.
