By being low to the ground the footprints leading towards the building became my central focus to place the viewer in the scene itself and lead them towards the decorated building

This image was taken from a distance capturing just the roof of the building and the lines and patterns it creates on the Vancouver waterfront

On this day a couple of weeks ago there was a light snowfall in the city which allows the blueish hue of the building to standout on the overcast day in the city

I headed out to the plains for some images just after sunset near the airport
