Lines of the Facade Building When you climb the steps

When you climb the steps to the public area in the dome of the Colorado State Capitol you start to get the sense of the detail of the dome itself

Montana I had climbed the hill next to the University of Montana many morning to photograph the fall colors

There wasn’t much time to take the image without people but on a weekday it made it a little easier with some patience

There were plenty of people running up and down the steps of across the rows within the amphitheater

At sunrise itself a cloud deck had built up providing a muted sunrise this year as the month of November starts

Lines of the Facade Building When you climb the stepsLooking up at a building I noticed the repeating lines of the facade which drew my eye. With that I was able to zoom in just to capture this portion of the Chicago building and how the lines and patterns work with the shape of the building. A final conversion to black and white allows these elements to be stronger in the frame of the image I capture here.
