Afternoon from Steptoe Butte Presentation:Matted On the way home one

On the way home one day I stopped near the Denver Performing Arts Complex

As I made my way past a residential building I just happened to look up and noticed how this building climbed to the sky

Using the buildings in Commons Park as a a foreground element to frame the skyline of Denver was my thought process for this image

there is not a place to be wearing shorts and flip flops as you wait for the sun to rise

the first snow was not until mid-November which is quite late

Afternoon from Steptoe Butte Presentation:Matted On the way home oneSteptoe Butte State Park rises above the Palouse allowing a view for miles. With the late afternoon sun skimming the edges of the hills of the Palouse the changes in elevation start to become enhanced with the difference of the light and shadow. In the rolling green of the area, signs of canola can be seen growing in the distance with the bright yellow.
