Roodekrantz Somerkind Chenin Blanc 2024 Helga Irene 35-45% MeunierDESCRIPTION Roodekrantz Somerkind Old Bush Vine Chenin Blanc 2024 is made 100% from 39 year old dryland bush vines (planted 1985) in Groenekloof, Darling, rooted in weathered sandy granite soils. Grapes were hand picked at 2122B in the early morning to preserve purity, then gently crushed, pressed, and settled overnight. Fermentation occurred in older French oak barrels, followed by 14 months on fine lees for texture and refinement. Bottled at 13%
