While exploring the area around the shrine I found some fresh snow still along the water low sun providing some late morning light

After nearly an hour in the conditions I ended up calling it a night and left to head home and thaw out

Behind Green Mountain Reflection From children heading to schoolOne evening I was photographing "behind" Green Mountain in Lakewood, which is the area along C 470. My goal that evening was to capture some long exposures of the freeway traffic, however I also did some long exposures towards the city. This image is the result, which is Green Mountain in the foreground as the lights of Denver illuminate the sky allowing use to see the defined ridges of the mountain.
