Using a tripod I slowly moved the camera with a slow shutter speed to add a little blur to the image

By this time the snow had started to turn to rain letting the grass of spring show through the wet snow

Over the summer the lake was drained as a construction project was started which will provide some additional separation from Interstate 70 as well as other improvements in the area

For this image I zoomed in on the front of the building to show the many lines which exist on this building

the leaves have almost all fallen in the Denver area and there is not that much snowfall in the city at that time

Sunset at Dixon Entrance Size:18"x24" Using a tripod I slowlyWhile heading south to Bellingham on the M V Malaspina there are some limited open water crossing along the inside passage the path Alaska Marine Highways makes the journey. On the first of these we crossed the Dixon Entrance which is also where the border is located between the United States and Canada. During this crossing the waters were quite calm which made the for an enjoyable sunset on the deck during this March evening.
