With some nice afternoon sunlight and the change of seasons on a nice fall day in Denver

Walking near the Platte River one morning I noticed the shadow being cast on the sidewalk since the sun was perpendicular to the walk

I turned around to look at the building noticing this image as the pump house is surrounded by water during high tide

however like myself they were treated to the clouds lighting this first morning of 2012

Even though these icebergs are large looking at the land in which they have been coming breaking away from also shows the mass of change taking place in the area not just now but over a large period of time in the past and even more so in the future

At first I wasn't too attached to the reflection which initially drew my attention, but moving around a little I came across this image. For me getting the clear detail of the facades of the reflected buildings was important to me as I captured this image as they convey so much history on their own in addition to the changing
