Made of silk, the top band and backside have a white floral and dragon design. The main part has deep blue background with striking gold embroidered chrysanthemums (kiku) and paulownia flowers (kiri), two very prominent symbols of longevity and good luck respectively. Uchishiki is mainly used by followers of Jodo Shinshu
