Car Hood Building Using this as a light

Using this as a light source I tilted my lens towards the ceiling and let the light highlight the detail in the structure

It was waiting for that right moment to get the rays of the sun through the tree for this image

This image was just prior to sunrise and as I have done in the past I let the buildings go to shadow for the most part in this image

It was quite empty on this side of the church on a nice late summer day in the capitol city

I would see Union Station down 17th Avenue

Car Hood Building Using this as a lightThis is an old car hood. The flaking of the paint and the various colors is what grabbed my attention to this specific hood. Lining up the various lines in the same direction also brings you through the image and allows your eye to capture the various elements at each glance of the image.
