Battling waves of heavy rain which would last a few minutes I took some pictures of the San Diego skyline

From Commons Park I pointed my camera towards Union Station to capture the scene with the train station and city skyline

By positioning my camera so there were angles in the photo instead of straight on provided a stronger image to me

The gold leaf which is on the dome adds to the scene as the sunlights makes is shine on this fall afternoon

The lines and pattens is what caught my eye initially and I worked to find a nice angle to photograph the architectural element on this building

Located near the Sonny Bono Salton Sea National Wildlife Refuge, these trees will sometimes be in the water or on the dry soil depending on the level of the water.
