Large Chest of Drawers, Black Lacquer w140 Our black lacquer model isOur black lacquer chest of drawers is a modern design the Chinese did not use chests of drawers as we did in the west until quite recently but the classic frame and panel joinery and circular brass handles are typical of traditional Chinese furniture. Deeper and wider than our Ming chest of drawers it has a real sense of understated oriental style. The chest has two full width drawers with two smaller drawers above, each with dovetail joints and
