Wind Across the Sand Size:24"x36" For the next few hours

For the next few hours we explored just outside the downtown area and some of the great architecture new and old which can be found in Denver

I picked out a location up a little path and set up my tripod starting to photography the stars as I waited for the sun to rise

This small island just off the coast was coming and going in the rain and clouds

Wind Across the Sand Size:24"x36" For the next few hoursAs the day moves to afternoon at the Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve the wind picks up. With the wind starting to blow those lines which were led to the distance start to be obscured with the blowing sand from the gusty wind. These winds are quite common at the sand dunes based on the location of the park in the Alamosa valley and is also how they initially formed.
