The result of this voting was overwhelming and also brought a new perspective to me as my favorite images were not always those receiving the most votes

After I took this image

designations on the side of some buildings or a marker along a trail in City Park it is something residents in Denver are proud of having in this city

however I still stuck around and next week we will see the change which took place over the next thirty minutes on that early July evening

Afternoon at Sloans Lake Size:16"x20" The result of this votingI headed to Sloans Lake for some afternoon light on a November afternoon. First stop was photographing the skyline across the lake with a steady breeze blowing. Prior to leaving the lake I checked out some other areas and found some tall grasses backlit blowing in the wind. Letting the sun wash out some of the scene I photographed these with a hint of the Rocky Mountains in the distance prior to the sun dropping behind the mountains to end another day
