Denver Skyline at Dusk Size:11"x14" On this day in October

On this day in October 2009 some early snow fell in the city which was interesting as the snow line was quite obvious throughout the city especially on the lawn of the capitol building

By being low to the ground the footprints leading towards the building became my central focus to place the viewer in the scene itself and lead them towards the decorated building

After the bridge I headed back towards BART with some more walking and earned a bunch of Thanksgiving leftovers upon returning home

At this time I found myself not using my camera and challenged myself to photograph every day during the month of November posting an image to my blog from each day

As construction has continued around the Union Station area there is this view of the Davita Building which still remains

Denver Skyline at Dusk Size:11"x14" On this day in OctoberI came across this spot while photographing at Commons Park previously. Using the buildings in Commons Park as a a foreground element to frame the skyline of Denver was my thought process for this image. I planned this for the whole day and fortunately the weather cooperated as well for the image allowing for the day blue sky as a backdrop allowing me to capture the image as part of Thirty Days 2011.
