There is excellent volume to the medium-bodied and admirably concentrated flavors yet this is not really a powerful wine so much as it is focused and harmonious

Taupenot Merme, Charmes Chambertin Vintage:2018 The Pingus vines were plantedA slightly riper and more complex nose of very earthy and slightly sauvage dark berry fruit aromas set of by a touch of wood spice leads to dense and attractively textured medium full flavors that possess a seductive mouth feel and I like the subtle sense of harmony as this is balanced, long and delicious while remaining altogether serious. There is a clean and crisp feel to the finish and only mild austerity. 92 2020+
